The English Rakugo Association Presents: English Rakugo!

On the 13th of March, in collaboration with the Japanese Studies Association (JAD) and the Conculate-General of Japan in Istanbul, the Asian Studies Center organized an English Rakugo performance at the Boğaziçi University, Demir Demirgil Hall. Before the performance, Dr. Esra Gökçe Şahin gave the audience a brief presentation introducing rakugo. The event garnered the attention of not only Boğaziçi professors and students but also many people interested in Japanese culture.
