“Japonya’da Türk İzleri” Documentary by TRT on the anniversary of Ertuğrul Frigate Disaster 17.09.2021 Friday
The documentary produced and directed by Umut Mete Soydan, supported by the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Bogazici University Asian Studies Center Founding Director Prof. Dr. Selçuk Esenbel, Director of Ankara University Asia-Pacific Research Center Prof. Dr. Merthan Dündar, Historian on Japan Dr. Erdal Küçükyalçın, Turkish Art History Expert Prof. Dr. Minako Mizuno Yamanlar and Ottoman History Expert Prof. Dr. Tadashi Suzuki took place as consultants in the production of documentary.
“Japonya’da Türk İzleri” Documentary, which was recently selected as the Best Documentary of the Year at the 5th National Palandöken Awards, will take place in the Japan Festival to be organized by the Embassy of Japan in Ankara in December, as well as at the Uzbekistan Film Festival.
