"China: 10 Years of Transformation" by Emre Demir

You are cordially invited to the upcoming a talk by journalist Emre Demir titled “China: 10 Years of Transformation." 

The talk will take place at Nafi Baba Building 103, Boğaziçi University South Campus, on March 6 at 17:00 (Istanbul time, GMT+3). The participants who are not non-BU students or staff need to register via mail to: yasemin.daldal@std.bogazici.edu.tr

Speaker Bio:

K. Emre Demir is a graduate of Ankara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. He worked in the media sector in China between 2011-2024. He is interested in Chinese politics, China-US relations, Turkey-China relations, transformation of national policies into media language. In 2016, he published a book titled “A World Under the Sky: 5 Years and 10 Cities in China.” In 2024, he returned to Turkey from China and continues his professional career in the private sector. He also produces China-oriented content on his YouTube channel (@emredem).
