23 December 2022! PANEL: Exchange of Cultural Waves: Korea and Türkiye

You are cordially invited to the upcoming Asian Talks Series Panel in cooperation with the General Consulate of Korea in İstanbul titled "Exchange of Cultural Waves: Korea and Türkiye" by Ambassador (R) Hakan Okçal, Asst. Prof. Yang Min-Ji and Professor Arzu Öztürkmen. Former Ambassador of Türkiye to Korea Hakan Okçal will deliver a talk titled "Turkish-Korean Relations and Korean Contribution to Contemporary Culture as seen through a Personal Prism". Asst. Prof. Yang Min-Ji from Institute of Mediterranean Studies Busan University of Foreign Studies will deliver a talk titled "Community and Commumication, The Elements of the Korean Wave's Succes Strategy". Professor Arzu Öztürkmen from Boğaziçi University Department of History will deliver a talk titled "Constructing Television content in Turkey: A Historical Review of the Dizi Genre"

The talk will take place at Nafi Baba Building on December 23 at 17:00 (Istanbul time, GMT+3). Because of the seat restrictions and COVID Measures the talk will be broadcasted via zoom for the non BU students/members.
